State Road 482 Widening

Metz & Associates served as the structural design consultant for the 2.9 mile widening of SR 482 (Sand Lake Road) for FDOT District 5.  We provided structural design services for four multi-span bridge widenings at the SR 482/Kirkman Road Interchange and a twin bridge replacement at SR 482 over Shingle Creek.  Structural design services were also provided for thirteen steel sheet pile walls, box culvert extensions, overhead sign structures and traffic signal structures all in the vicinity of the tourist corridor near International Drive in Orlando.
