Our Building Division works closely with architects, owners, building contractors, developers and suppliers to provide innovative structural system alternatives and efficient designs that allow for ease of construction and keep costs within allowable budget constraints. Our staff has significant knowledge and experience working with many of the available building materials including: reinforced concrete, post-tensioned concrete, precast/composite concrete, insulating concrete forms (ICF), concrete tilt-up wall panels, load-bearing masonry, composite structural steel/concrete, structural steel, light gauge steel, aluminum, and structural timber. Our building staff has designed many types of walls and foundation systems including cast-in-place concrete retaining walls, reinforced masonry retaining walls, stemwall foundations, monolithic foundations, precast concrete piling, auger cast-in-place piling, timber piling, and drilled caissons.
